Patriot Varsity field hockey continued their winning streak with a 2-1 overtime victory over Frederick High School, winning the Intracity Match-up. The Cadets scored early, however, the Patriots answered, late in the 2nd half to tie the game 1-1. The goal was scored by Brooke Timmins on the post from Jule Powe, with 3 minutes and 44 seconds remaining. The Patriots entered their 7v7, 1st round of overtime following a total of 18 penalty corner opportunities throughout regulation. The Patriots scored their walk-off goal with 45 seconds remaining. The winning goal was scored by another assist from Jule Powe and netted by senior, Tamyla Bento, also on the post.

Patriot JV field hockey played a tight game against Oakdale High School. Despite a solid showing, the Lady Patriots fell 3-0 to the visiting Bears. 

The Patriots Varsity field hockey team hosts the Linganore Lancers on 9/26/19 at 4pm followed by JV at 5:30pm.
